Workers’ Compensation

An injury at work can wreak havoc on a person’s life. It may be difficult to pay medical bills and take care of family members; dealing with an employer and its insurer can be overwhelming.

Workers who are injured on the job are entitled to fair compensation for injuries and financial strain. All Pennsylvania employers are required to carry workers' compensation insurance. Injured workers are entitled to receive lost wages and necessary medical treatment, including therapy, prescriptions, and any medical supplies required to treat the injuries. Workers who are temporarily disabled due to an on-the-job injury are entitled to receive disability payments. Those left with any permanent disability also are entitled to compensation.

Workplace injuries may include fractures, lost limbs, lacerations, head injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive stress injuries, and injuries caused by other employees or equipment.

While workers' compensation laws can be complicated and ever-changing, the attorneys at Wusinich, Brogan & Stanzione have the knowledge and experience to protect clients’ rights, and ensure they receive the compensation necessary to pay bills and take care of their family.
